With the change of name from Birkenhof to Vera Monti, a new milestone has been reached. With great passion and motivation we want to make our visions come true, in order to inspire our guests even more in the future.

The pearl of the Lech Valley
Holzgau is situated at 1,114 m above sea level in the upper Lech valley and is considered the pearl of the Lech valley due to its wonderful location and picturesque village image. Especially well known in Holzgau are the numerous splendidly painted houses, which give the village a special charm. In Holzgau you will not lack for anything - so the community offers an extensive infrastructure. A doctor, two grocery stores and three sports shops are available.

Summer holiday
In summer you can enjoy the interplay of mountains and rivers in the Lechtal region. Due to our location directly at the Höhenbach, in the middle of lush meadows and the popular Lechweg, you have the wild nature in front of your eyes at any time of the day.
Those who aspire to the heights spend tranquil days hiking or mountain biking in the Alps.
Winter holidays
In winter Holzgau offers its own ski lift as well as ideal access to the extensive Lechtal cross-country skiing network. Demanding skiers also appreciate the proximity to the top ski area Ski Arlberg. On the well-groomed kilometres of pistes, both leisurely and sporty spirits will find the right run. The landscape is also ideal for winter hiking. Past picturesque villages and along the river Lech you get very close to nature.

Entertainment is of course also offered outdoors.
The green playground is located directly at a small brook at the edge of the forest, which invites you to play and romp in the open nature.
The playground with a children's playhouse tempts you to swing, slide and climb.
Especially our big trampoline is very well received by the children.
